Office based in HQ Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny

Full-time, Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm (flexibility for a shorter week may be considered)

Job Objectives

We are seeking a reliable and organised Office & Accounts Administrator to provide maternity cover for a period of 9–12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative, financial, and operational duties to ensure the smooth running of their office and support to their field-based teams.

You contribute to the service delivery to our teams ensuring consistent and accurate data entry, working as part of a team and closely with colleagues throughout Head Office, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will assist with administrative tasks and reporting.

This will include the following on a day-to-day basis:

To accept responsibility for specific areas, as specified by the Director of Finance, to ensure the smooth running of the accounts department.

  • To ensure all accounting deadlines are met and that all reports are complete and accurate.
  • Preparing Accounts for external auditors
  • Dealing with Creditor Queries
  • Petty cash management, data entry and full reconciliations
  • To attend meetings as and when necessary and to provide management information as requested by the Directors.
  • Handling other general administrative tasks as needed
