Introduction:
Production Operators – Corio, VIC

Civilmart is an Australian owned national manufacturer of civil concrete products supplying to sectors such as residential development, local government, water authorities, civil infrastructure, irrigation, and the plumbing and drainage market. We are one of the largest producers of precast concrete in Australia, with operations across QLD, NSW, VIC, and SA and 24 sites nationwide.

We’re currently seeking Several Production Operators to join our team at Civilmart at Corio Pipes, supporting both production and yard operations. Production Operators are responsible for maintaining the consistent quality of precast concrete products.

These are permanent roles for the right applicants, or you may choose to maintain a casual employment status with us. If you are keen to learn, have the right attitude, can work in a team, and have good attendance, which means working all rostered shifts, 5 days per week, we can provide you with long-term job security – both Morning and Night shifts available.

Production Operators are responsibilities:

• Maintain and clean company equipment and facilities
• Conduct minor repairs to products and tools if skill set allows
• Work in production areas as directed by the Leading Hand
• Correct use of hand and power tools and other equipment
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure compliance to customer specifications and report failures to the Leading Hand
• Face concrete articles with a trowel
• Undertake mould assembly & stripping
• Lubrication of moulds
• Participate in production process as required by production manager /Leading hands
• Operation of various vibration methods employed on site

Skills Required:

• Must be reliable
• Able to work with limited supervision
• Good work ethic, hands on person
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the role
• Able to interact with all levels of staff, management and external contacts
• Forklift experience and a current forklift license will be highly regarded
• Experience in a similar industry or a production environment is desirable but not mandatory
