We are seeking to recruit a full time Recruitment Specialist to join Manor Homecare across our offices in Kildare and Dublin. This is a full-time role, reporting to our Recruitment Manager primarily based in our office in Maynooth.
This is an exciting and varied role ideally suited to someone who is creative and enjoys a high level of people interaction and variety in their working day. The right candidate will play a crucial role in hiring the ideal candidates with our clients to enhance the quality of life for those we serve.
Job Responsibilities
- Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans
- Writing and managing job postings, job boards, and social media.
- Proactively sourcing, networking, and talent-pooling candidates using necessary platforms , other available tools and initiatives.
- Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events
- Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees
- Screen resumes and job applications
- Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
- Interview candidates in-person for a wide range of roles (junior, senior and executive)
- Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire
- Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys
- Host and participate in job fairs
- Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings
Full responsibility for the Onboarding & Offboarding process.
- Assisting in and conducting research for other onboarding initiatives, as well as using tangible data to inform the structure and building of additional induction resources.
- Communicating onboarding progress to hiring managers and key stakeholders, offering solutions for onboarding issues and adopting a continuous improvement approach.
- Monitoring processes to ensure the experience is positive for the employee and hiring manager and ensuring all new hires are set up from HR systems and processed by payroll in a timely manner.
- Full responsibility for the leavers- ensuring all employees are removed from HR systems and processed by payroll in a timely manner and ensuring all the offboarding experience is positive for the employee.
- Managing relevant ad hoc projects, ensuring activity is managed simultaneously.
- Work as part of a connected HR team to drive forward collectively our crucial HR processes and deliverables in relation to employee engagement, EAP and well-being..
- Supporting senior staff across the HR department under various projects.
Experience and Qualifications Required
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
- Recruitment or HR based qulaification.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and busy office environment.
- Above average interpersonal skills with an ability to create trust and loyalty.
- Excellent listening skills and a compassionate patient demeanor.
- An ability to mentor individuals, offering advice and direction that will influence and support them towards success.
- Superb organisational skills, ability to prioritise workload and multitask.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to use initiative and work under pressure.
- Strong IT aptitude with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel), and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Appropriate permission to work full time in Ireland.
- Salary: €38,000 DOE and qualifications.

Schedule:
- Day shift
- Predominantly Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Full QQI Level 5 Healthcare Award or equivalent preferred , but minimum requirement is Level 5 QQI 'Care Skills' and 'Care of the Older Person'.
