Front of House & Hospitality Manager

Tejano Cantina is looking for an energetic, organized and hands-on leader to elevate service, grow catering sales and build the systems that will support our expansion to new locations in 2027.

We’re a busy, high-volume restaurant with a loyal following and big ambitions. We need someone who can run a tight ship, make every guest feel welcome and help our team deliver consistently—even during the busiest rush.

What you’ll lead

• Service and guest experience: Create a warm, efficient experience from greeting through ordering, pickup and delivery. Resolve concerns with care and turn first-time guests into regulars.
• Daily operations: Lead the floor, manage service flow and maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked front of house. Coordinate closely with the kitchen to keep orders accurate and moving.
• POS and delivery platforms: Confidently manage Lightspeed and Uber Eats, including order flow, menu updates, promotions, troubleshooting and reporting. Train staff to use these tools accurately and efficiently.
• Training and standards: Create practical training guides, onboarding plans, checklists and service standards. Coach the team daily and hold everyone accountable.
• Team motivation: Develop staff incentives that reward hospitality, teamwork, sales and consistent execution.
• Catering growth: Build relationships with local businesses and organizations, follow up on inquiries, convert opportunities into orders and coordinate execution with the kitchen.
• Monthly promotions: Work with our content and marketing team to deliver promotions that drive visits, repeat business and catering orders.
• Expansion readiness: Build and document repeatable systems that can be taught and maintained across future locations.
• Results: Track guest feedback, order accuracy, service speed, catering sales and promotion performance—and act on what the numbers tell you.

What you bring

• Experience leading front-of-house teams in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Lightspeed and delivery platforms such as Uber Eats is a must.
• Experience with Shopify, social media and Google Workspace—including Gmail, Drive, Docs and Sheets—would be a huge asset.
• A natural hospitality mindset, strong sales instincts and pride in the details.
• The ability to create structure, communicate expectations and follow through.
• A positive, hands-on leadership style: you coach, support and step in wherever needed.
• Strong organization and the ability to stay calm while managing competing priorities.
• Fluent English and French, with the ability to welcome guests, resolve concerns, train staff and handle catering inquiries in both languages.

Pay: $42,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
