We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join its team on a residential construction project in Westport, County Mayo.
Responsibilities
Carry out setting-out and surveying activities on site.
Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with the Site Manager, subcontractors and project team.
Review technical drawings and resolve engineering issues.
Maintain accurate site records and documentation using Procore, with training provided.
Monitor workmanship and ensure project quality standards are maintained.
Follow site safety procedures, quality plans and relevant ISO standards.
Assist with project planning, inspections and final handover activities.
Requirements
Degree-qualified Engineer with at least 5 years of site-based experience, preferably with a main contractor.
Strong knowledge of setting out, surveying and construction engineering.
Understanding of Irish building practices, temporary works and Health & Safety requirements.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Competency in CAD software and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Full, clean driving licence valid in Ireland.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Pay: €44,700.00-€74,500.00 per year
