Job description
Kealy Construction require a Site Engineer for the South Dublin Area.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the running of site with regards to setting out.
- Review information from drawings, specifications, etc. to foremen, operatives, subcontractors, so that they clearly understand what is required.
- Liaising with a range of professionals i.e. Designers, Engineers, Architects etc
- Review of technical submissions prior to upload to design team to ensure that the correct areas of work are addressed
- Providing clear leadership abilities and direction to the site team
- Overview of concrete testing and results.
- Ensuring all records / management activities adhere to Institutional policies & legal requirement
- Record all daily activities, relevant information and occurrences in your site diary.
- Health & Safety compliance
- ISO Compliance
- Effectively prioritise areas of work and meet strict deadlines
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all personnel
- Communicate well at all levels
Your Skills & Experience:
- 3rd Level qualification in an Engineering related field
- Proven experience in setting out or working as a Site Engineer in previous roles
- 5+ years’ experience is in Building Industry
- Strong knowledge of BCAR & building regulations
- High level of organisational and time management skills
- Flexibility and capability to adapt to a changing work environment
- Strong PC skills, particularly Autocad, Microsoft Excel, Word, Project & Outlook
Excellent salary and benefits package for the right candidate
