Overview
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist with 1–2 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have Hands-on experience with turning, milling, and machining of screws including groove cutting and finishing.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery including CNC lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards.
- Assist in assembly processes when required, utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift operation as needed.
Requirements
- Proven 1-2 years experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Fanuc controls, CNC programming, and operation of CNC lathe and milling machines.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints accurately.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks for designing or modifying parts.
- Experience using calipers, hand tools, power tools and welding equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Safety shoes required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
Work Location: In person
