Food & Beverage Supervisor

Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is currently recruiting for experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the Team.

The Ballymascanlon House is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, this impressive Victorian House forms the heart of this Hotel. It is one of the most remarkable historical estates in Ireland dating back to 833 A.D.

The Food & Beverage Supervisor is an exciting role that aims to ensure all our guests have a wonderful experience and enjoy excellent service.

About The Role

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

• Supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in day-to-day running of the Food & Beverage areas including Bar, Restaurant and Conference & Banqueting
• Responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the Food & Beverage Outlet operation in absence of Food & Beverage Manager, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction whilst maximising departmental profitability

TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure smooth operation in Food & Beverage areas
• To ensure that staffing levels go in par with business needs
• To oversee the closing of late bar while ensuring that all tasks are completed as per departmental checklist
• To ensure team's adherence to agreed hotel standards
• To ensure proper stock rotation and that par stocks are kept to an adequate level in order to meet business requirements.
• To ensure the set up and mise en place is performed in accordance with pre-determined standards of operation.
• To ensure all cash/credit card /room charge payments are correctly checked before acceptance, and that tight control and security of payments is kept.

Qualifications:

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills
• Flexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends, public holidays
• Previous experience working in a Food & Beverage environment i.e. hotel, restaurant, bar
