Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our busy dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service and hospitality, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of service quality to foster a welcoming environment for guests.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen activities
- Lead and motivate team members to ensure efficient service and high customer satisfaction
- Oversee food handling, safety protocols, and compliance with health regulations
- Manage cash handling procedures and POS systems such as Micros POS
- Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff to build a competent team
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest experience
- Implement marketing strategies to promote restaurant offerings and events
- Maintain adherence to food safety standards and hospitality best practices
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Background in food safety regulations and kitchen operations
- Prior experience in customer service, serving, or hotel/hospitality industries is preferred
- Leadership skills demonstrated through team management, interviewing, and staff development efforts
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and restaurant experience across various roles including barista or hotel settings is advantageous

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
