Restaurant Manager – Sophia & SpritzJoin the Sophia & Spritz Family

Sophia & Spritz is currently seeking a passionate, driven, and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the restaurant family behind Gusto Italian Grill & Bar, Boulevard Kitchen & Bar, Captain Dan's, and Sophia & Spritz — some of the busiest and most recognized hospitality brands in Atlantic Canada.

In this role, you will work directly alongside General Manager Erin Cartier and our senior leadership team to help lead daily operations, elevate guest experiences, and continue building one of Moncton’s premier restaurant destinations.

We are looking for a strong leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, inspires teams, and is passionate about hospitality and operational excellence.

Overview

The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily restaurant operations while supporting team development, service standards, and overall restaurant performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership abilities, restaurant management experience, and a hands-on approach to hospitality.

Previous restaurant management experience is required. Experience in hospitality, hotels, lounges, cafés, or upscale dining environments is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Support and develop FOH team members through coaching, leadership, and ongoing training
  • Work closely with General Manager Erin Cartier and senior leadership on operational initiatives
  • Manage staff scheduling, floor plans, and labour efficiency
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, organization, and hospitality
  • Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health standards are consistently upheld
  • Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally and effectively
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and team development
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers when needed
  • Oversee POS operations, cash handling, and daily operational procedures
  • Foster a positive, energetic, and team-oriented workplace culture
  • Help drive restaurant growth through leadership, accountability, and operational excellence

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Ability to lead confidently in high-volume, fast-paced environments
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures
  • Proven ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure
  • Passion for hospitality, guest experience, and team development
