What to expect?

Restaurant JAQ is located in the iconic Hilton Rotterdam. You will be leading the F&B Team working in JAQ! In JAQ the focus lies mainly on the dinner service, however you will also oversee the breakfast operations, which brings a dynamic vibe! You will ensure a smooth operation to deliver excellent Guest experiences. We encourage development! In your position, you will be responsible for the Team their development and your own. In short, you can expect a combination of; dynamics & standards, Rotterdam & internationalism, and serious business & fun!

What will you be doing?

You are an expert in carrying out the following tasks:

• Recruit, manage, train, and develop your Team

• Conduct with annual and mid-year appraisals with Team Members in your Team

• Proactively setting departmental targets and objectives work schedules, budgets, policies and procedures in consult with your head of department

• Develop menus with the F&B Service and Kitchen Teams

• Drive team members to maximize sales and revenue

• Focus on quality of service, team member engagement, the Team Members’ development and wellbeing

• Being an important gear between the Team and Management

Who are you?
You are the leader that brings our team and Restaurant JAQ to the next level! You feel comfortable working in a dynamic and international environment. Therefore, proper English language skills are required. Dutch language skills are a pro, but are not mandatory. Your friends & family describe you as someone who:

• Has a passion and knowledge for everything that has to do with F&B

• Can drive a Team to the next level with F&B knowledge and skills to explain and train

• Has previous Food and Beverage Management or Supervisory experience (mandatory)

• Is committed in showcasing high levels of Guest service

• Has constructive communication skills towards international and multigenerational Guests and Team Members

• Is always ready to handle any situation in our dynamic industry

• Gets energy from developing Team Members and themself
