Key Responsibilities
Programming & Setup
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models to determine machining strategies.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Simulate programs to validate toolpaths and prevent collisions.
Machining Process Optimization
- Improve cycle times and machining efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining issues.
- Recommend process improvements for tool life, accuracy, and throughput.
Machine Setup & Support
- Support machinists with setups, tool selection, and problem-solving on the shop floor.
- Verify first-article parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM data, etc.).
- Maintain documentation for program revisions and setup instructions.
Quality & Safety
- Ensure parts are produced within specified tolerances and meet quality requirements.
- Adhere to safety procedures and company operational standards.
- Collaborate with quality assurance to resolve defects and prevent recurrence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
